Lucy & Guy married by the beach in Marbella, Spain last week.
They came to us late last year to create stationery for their celebrations. They knew that they wanted wedding invitations that reflected the fun day they have in store for their guests. The finished design is a pair of flip flops (one finished with small silver diamantes!) surrounded by beach flowers, palm trees, shells & with their names cut though the middle!
The invitation is cut onto sandy, mink coloured card & the inside is printed onto contrasting quartz paper.
The design was carried over onto information cards made to slot perfectly behind the invitation & onto the top of their RSVP cards.
Natasha & Will came to us & asked us to create bespoke invitations for their wedding in June. Natasha knew that they wanted the finished design to be based upon lace & to feature roses. She also liked the idea of incorporating their initials.
The finished design is a beautifully intricate rose lace pattern with their initials, ‘N&W’ cut into the bottom corner. The design also has a hidden clue as to their secret wedding location!
We also created some pretty printed postcards with the same rose lace design to invite guests to a post wedding celebration here in the UK in July.
We’re busy creating ‘on the day’ stationery items for Natasha & Will (including some beautiful laser cut place cards!) as I type.. more on these here on the blog soon!
Judy & David celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary last September with a garden party. They came to us to create unique laser cut event invitations to invite and surprise their friends & loved ones with something a little different. The invitation was to include two giraffes, a lady & a gent (Judy’s favourite animals!) with some ‘Golden Wedding’ bunting. They loved it.. so did all the guests!
Here’s the finished design, cut in a shimmer quartz card with a gold leaf inlay.
Judy & David shared some pictures from their party with us!
The invitation design inspired the cake design..
We also made lollipop table names so they could be popped into pretty jam jars filled with flowers on each table.
..and table plan cards that hung in twisted willow branches.
Congratulations Judy & David!
When asked by the lovely Ali, the designer for Marston & Langinger (who make stunning glass garden rooms) to laser cut & make their gorgeous corporate Christmas cards, we jumped at the chance.
Ali really loved the idea of laser cutting & had wanted to do something for a long time using it, this was her first opportunity!
With designs under way it was really exciting for us all to see the finished design start to materialise.
Here’s a few pics to show you the finished Winter Garden Christmas card.
We were delighted to be asked to make laser cut Christmas cards again this year for the lovely people at Kirei.
The finished cards have a delicate snowflake laser cut to the front & are printed inside with a Christmas message. Each card is finished off with a festive red envelope.
Here’s a few snaps we took before they were wrapped & sent on their way to be written!
When Gaynor came to us to create wedding invitations for her & James she knew that she wanted a design which was unique to them whilst still having our distinctive handwriting. She liked the idea of it featuring their initials & being framed as a picture would be. We took her thoughts & added our Hummingbird style to create an invite featuring beautiful flowers & swirls.
The finished invitation is three layers tied together to create a card which can stand or be hung up (like a picture!)
We also cut Gaynor a wooden artwork piece created from her design so she could frame it & have a permanent reminder of their invitations hanging on the wall!
Remember Lisa & Iain’s paper picado inspired Save the Dates we blogged about way back in December?
Well, Lisa & Iain married last Saturday!
We thought we’d take the chance to show you a couple of other items from their bespoke order..
Their country garden invitations were A5, folded style with the front layer laser cut with a silhouette couple holding balloons, framed by intricate trees & small flowers. The words ‘The wedding of Lisa & Iain’ were laser cut in banners amongst the design too.
Their menus were printed, folded booklets made from a quartz shimmer card with blue ink to match the Sky colour of the invitation & save the date.
We hope Lisa & Iain had a wonderful day on Saturday & we wish them so much happiness for their future together!
Lou & Jaz are marrying in September with a weekend of celebrations. On Friday they’re having a sikh ceremony & on Saturday an English wedding. They loved our vintage garden party invitations but decided to make them even more personal with the addition of their names in the bunting flags.
Lou & Jaz’s design was cut as a folded style invitation on the silk card & finished inside with sky blue inlay.
We hope Lou & Jaz have a brilliant weekend of celebrations in September!
Today we thought we’d share with you a recent bespoke order.
Bernadette, from Dream Occasions, asked us to create some invitations for her clients, David & Jane, for their Ruby Wedding Anniversary celebrations.
David & Jane celebrated with a garden fete, followed by dinner & dancing!
Our vintage garden party invitation fitted in with their celebrations perfectly! We added in another row of bunting together with the words ‘Ruby Wedding’ & a small sign showing the way to the garden to make the invitation even more personal..
Back in the chilly days of January we blogged about Amy & Richard’s Hummingbird inspired Save the Dates. Today we thought we’d share their wedding invitations with you too!
Amy & Richard chose our laser cut whimsical heart invitation but personalised the design by adding their initials ‘A & R’ in amongst the flowers & birds.
They carried the colour theme across from their Save the Dates by using the same peach coloured inlay.
