Our cards have been written & sent, the cake has been iced & the fairy lights are twinkling away! We’re getting ready to take a well earned break for the holidays here at the Hummingbird studio. We’ll be closed from 5 o’clock on Friday 19th December until we reopen again at 9 o’clock on Tuesday 6th January. We’ll reply to any messages or enquiries we receive whilst we’re closed when we reopen in the new year. We wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

On Monday, we ventured to London to the Perfect Wedding Awards at The Institute of Directors on Pall Mall. With nervous excitement we entered the awesome building (with it’s grand staircases & incredible chandeliers!) & were ‘meeted & greeted’ by the Perfect Wedding girls. With a glass of champagne, canapes & singing waiters the presentations began.. We were so excited to win ‘Best Wedding Stationery’ 2013! A big thank you to all our lovely customers & Perfect Wedding Mag’s readers for your votes!

Festive Flamingo Foundation!

We were asked this year to create the Christmas Cards for the wonderful Flamingo Foundation. The Flamingo Foundation was created to help vulnerable people everywhere empower themselves through long-term, sustainable solutions that benefit their community & the wider public. Their projects follow three themes: Training, Education & Skills, all with long term, sustainable solutions. To get involved & help them raise much needed funds that they always put to good use please visit their shop. Christmas cards are just £1.00! They are silver foiled printed on a recycled Eco Craft card with a matching envelope.
