Scented candles have always been used to help us relax at the end of a long day. Lighting a candle with a relaxing scent can be calming and soothing or simply fill your home full of aromatics so it’s a special place to be. Our inspiration for making candles was to use only natural ingredients, ethically sourced using soothing scents from pure essential oils.

The lavender essential oil has many proven benefits, which include relieving stress and anxiety, reducing nervous tension, calming the body and mind, and helping to promote better sleep.

Lavender essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from freshly cut flowering tops. Lavender oil has a fresh fragrance bursting with a floral scent with a dry-woody undertone.

The lemon essential oil can help reduce anxiety and stress and is extracted from fresh peel by cold expression and has a crisp, sharp, citrus fresh smell.

As we find ourselves locked down in our homes with all the stresses that living through a pandemic can bring, the home has become our safe place and we’ve all become home bodies.

Each candle is delivered wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap in a strong delivery box.

You also have the option to add on gift wrapping. We will place your candle in a white box, tied with a ribbon and a gift tag.

Our candles are supplied with the safety information sticker on the base of the candle.

100% Vegan and animal-friendly soya and coconut wax and essential oils.

Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using a blend of natural, eco-friendly and vegan-friendly, cruelty-free coconut and soya wax with unbleached cotton wicks and pure essential oils.

Each one burns cleanly for at least 40 hours and has a good throw (the ability to spread the scent around a space). The fragrance will hit you as soon as you open the box and will intensify further once lit, quickly scenting your whole room.

The idea behind our essential oil blends was based upon flowers and herbs holding different meanings, derived from ancient myths and legends, often based upon the type of flower, the colour or a natural remedy, for example, soothing lavender for compassion and peace.

Remember to burn your candle all the way across the first time you light it to prevent hollowing in the wax. Keep the wick trimmed short to stop it smoking and most importantly, take a deep breath and enjoy.
