The Floral Monogram

A new wedding season has started so we have been looking back at some of our favourite projects from last year. Let’s just say this design for Victoria & Matt was one of those. We love the ‘something old, something new’ tradition and this invite mixes these perfectly. An elegant, romantic floral design, laser cut with trailing roses surrounding a monogram, but the style was modern, a unique pocket-fold. The invite folded out to reveal the invitation, a poem and all the little extra cards, wedding details and RSVP cards, neatly tucked away in a pretty pocket. The delicate design looked dreamy…

Whimsical Butterfly

Some days are busier than others and some days turn out strangely more exciting than others! After a phone call to the studio the HB team were excited by the prospect of a new project. We’d been asked to create some laser cut butterflies to top some patisserie for an afternoon tea event. A Blenheim Palace Fairytale

We’ve had such a busy summer with lots of exciting projects. When Lucy & Daniel got in touch we chatted through their plans and just loved the ideas they were putting together. Its’s been a busy old summer with lots of beautiful bespoke designs being created here in the HB studio. Paris Love Bridge

Tying a “love lock” on to the Pont des Arts before throwing the key into the River Seine beneath became a true declaration of love. Faye and James, ‘true romantics’ got engaged and added their love lock to the Paris bridge. But part of the bridge’s railings collapsed under the weight last year, so sadly close to one million locks, weighing 45 tonnes were removed. Eco crafty…

Charlotte & Tom came to us with a really clear brief, they knew exactly what they wanted and we loved the idea! A bespoke Eco-craft wedding invitation booklet. Laser cut names in a stencil letter style to the front cover, with insert pages including a photo of the lovely couple which you could see through the laser cutting and a printed invite, all stitched together with pretty pink thread. The bespoke invite and RSVP card picked out the pretty green from the photograph with a water coloured wash to the back ground and little leaf embellishments. Much to our excitement they decided…

Romantic Vineyard Wedding

Cassandra & Edward had found a truly unique and perfect wedding location, just 20 minutes from Cardiff. A hidden away vineyard called ‘Llanerch Vineyard’ set in the beautiful Welsh countryside. So next was the search for an invitation for a wedding amongst the Welsh hills and the picture perfect vines. This led them to us and the laser cut ‘Garden Party’ design, which they loved but the details of the design with whimsical tea pots and cakes wasn’t quite right.
