Summer Holiday

After a crazy, busy wedding season, we’re taking a little break! We are now closed for one week and will be back in the studio on Monday 22nd of August. Please send us a message with any enquiries and we’ll get back to you just as soon as we’re in. Any orders placed on our website shop will be sent when we return. Hope you’re all having a wonderful summer enjoying some of this crazy heat. We’ll be back soon all refreshed and ready to start looking forward to all the gorgeous Autumn weddings!

After the craziness of the past couple of years, Platinum Jubilee celebrations and half term to spend time with precious family, we felt now was the perfect time to take a short break. Our 2021 Message From Us To You

This is our first post in a long time, after a very strange and difficult year. We’re feeling refreshed after a comforted and cocooned Christmas and ready for a new start. As all our weddings were put on hold we pressed pause for a few weeks last March and April and temporarily closed the studio doors. We opened again selling our greeting cards and gifts from our Not On The High Street store. There were immense highs and lows as we struggled as an isolated team, some furloughed and others trying to manoeuvre their way through the Royal Mail postal backlog…

Some days I just have to pinch myself at how lucky I am. I have such a wonderful inspirational, creative and hard working team who put up with my endless requests, questions, design thoughts and ideas. Hummingbird Studio…

Last year we decided that with limited space in our wedding stationery studio we needed to find a new home for Hummingbird Cards. We found 81 Market Street, the perfect place, high ceilings, lots of big sash windows and natural light and views of the castle! The space looked very ‘tired’ it was your classic corporate office, with purple walls, loads of desks and a carpet that had definitely passed its best before date!
